This poster is based on a wordplay. It's difficult to translate in English.
I don't say I agree to use drugs as marijuana but the idea to choose this date is funny.
Try some explanations :

• Joint = spliff
• Appel du 18 juin = Appeal of 18 june by Charles De Gaulle in 1940
• juin and joint have similar pronunciation
• L'appel des 18 joints = Appeal of the 18 "spliffs"

So, the association chooses this particular day to demand the legalization of marijuana.

Cinéma Utopia

Utopia is my favourite cinema in Toulouse. It's an art house with a lot of movies from all over the world.
It's an old fashioned building with paper ticket no drinks and foods and no ADs. You pay your ticket, you get in the theater and the film begins right at the time. It's wonderful.

Tramway in action

City council of Toulouse has decided to build a new tramway line. Works in progress in my neighborhood.
But, I introduce the current Tramway coach designed by Airbus and Alstom.

A nice place for a picnic lunch

I'm used to go to this park during my lunch break. It's just 15 mn from my office. The weather was just delightful.

The word "Appartelier" doesn't exist, it's the contraction of Appartement (flat, apartment)  and Atelier (workshop).

This is the den of the local rugby team "Stade Toulousain" which is this year once again winner of the TOP14 rugby union french championship (as you can see on the picture below, shot on TV screen during after game celebration)

Pont des catalans on the Garonne river

Stone and concrete built in 1908. First name was Pont des Amidonniers from the name of the district. Rename as Pont des Catalans to commemorate the twinning of Toulouse and Barcelona.
