May 2012 Theme Day : Bakeries

My baker is also a farmer, he produces its own wheat and flour. He works all week at this farm and on saturday he drives 75 km to sell his bread on an open market. Everything is "bio". You know that bread is very important for us in France. It's always a challenge to find a good bakery.

Chip stall

At every game of the local football or rugby, several stalls as this one set up close by the stadium.
One of their famous sandwiches is called "Sandwich Americain" (american sandwich).
The recipe is very simple : a half baguette, split and filled with browned ground beef (steak haché) or local sausage or merguez and french fries on top with optionally onions.
I promess a picture next time.
