A nice place for a picnic lunch

I'm used to go to this park during my lunch break. It's just 15 mn from my office. The weather was just delightful.

Brick castle along the river

Pont des catalans on the Garonne river

Stone and concrete built in 1908. First name was Pont des Amidonniers from the name of the district. Rename as Pont des Catalans to commemorate the twinning of Toulouse and Barcelona.

Earthy water

Lots of rain in the Pyrenees, so lots of water in the Garonne river in Toulouse.

Flood

Last week the Garonne river was in flood. Lots of remains and mud on the banks.

In the middle of the Place Saint Cyprien, I can't find information of this fountain.

Saint-Michel lock

This lock on the Garonne River is the only one on the river, located on the upper branch of the river.

This is the office of Water Ski club of Toulouse.

Rowing

On Sunday afternoon, people are rowing  on the Garonne River.

One on the left.
One on the right.
At the same time.
Is the boat going forward ?

Fishway

This fish-way has been built to get round a hydroelectric power station along the Garonne river.

La Chaussée du Bazacle

La Chaussée du Bazacle on wikipedia is at the origine of joint-stock companies.
